Giannis's latest budget shoe, the Nike Giannis Immortality 2, has similar traction to its predecessor. The performance is on par as well.
The cushioning can be divisive, depending on your preferences. There is no impact protection, but it offers plenty of responsiveness and court feel.
Reviewers had split opinions on the materials. Some called them cheap, and others said they were an upgrade from last year. All agreed the materials don't affect the performance, though.
The support and lockdown features are basic but get the job done.
The Nike Giannis Immortality 2 is a slightly above-average performance shoe but excels in the budget category.

A very good shoe minimal and lightweight.It is a must for point guards and for other players who need a lightweight and responsive shoe.I would not recommend it for big guys who need support.Overall it was a great shoe and will be in my rotation.

If you play on clean courts, you won't have any problems with traction. I did sometimes slide on dusty courts, though.
